James Taylor of Taylor Linens started importing damask linens from Ireland in 1922. Eighty years later, Taylor Linens intertwines the needs of today with the workmanship of yesterday. Special attention is given to the smallest details - the tiny pin tucks each taken by hand, the sentimental embroideries, the antique-inspired laces and fine fabrics. Taylor Linens is continuing the family tradition by offering quality products and excellent service. Taylor Linen quilts are made of 100% cotton fabric and batting, and are quilted by hand with fine, close stitches. They use imported European dyes for their printed fabrics and the yarns for their wovens are vat dyed. The fabrics are tested for colorfastness - to sun and washing in warm water. All of Taylor Linen's quilts and linens are washed, preshrunk and soft to the touch. Their pillows are filled with white goose feather. Lots of love, untold hours, and skilled hands have created these coveted heirlooms.
