Yala Dreamsacks Bamboo and Silk Bedding

DreamSacks is now Yala! - The DreamSacks company began when owners Nancy and Larry Morgan and their daughter Chelsea were living overseas. Nancy and Larry taught at a small women’s college and in their spare time they explored Asia, where sleeping accommodations were often rough. To be prepared for the questionable sleeping conditions, Nancy sewed together sheets and used them as travel sheets. From her extensive experience in China, a land with a long history of silk, she realized silk would make much better travel sheets. Using silk allows them to be lighter, more compact and thermodynamic. One of Nancy’s students worked in a silk factory and the two of them worked together to design and produce the first DreamSack. Now, travelers take along their Dream Sacks on adventures all over the world.
Yala now continues to develop product offerings that not only include bedding, but nightwear, yoga wear, jackets and accessories. All products are made of natural fibers including silk, viscose from bamboo, organic cotton and Tencel. Today DreamSacks, Inc. is a family owned company located in Ashland, Oregon.
